Dr. Alan Teh graduated in 1983 from the University of Malaya. Thereafter, he worked as Lecturer and Associate Professor in the Division of Haematology, Department of Medicine, UMMC 1988-1999. He is trained in Australia in Haematology and bone marrow transplantation at the St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney, Australia and started the first adult bone marrow transplant programme at UMMC in 1993.
His current clinical interests include management of acute myeloid leukemia, multiple myeloma, CML, and allogeneic and autologous haematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Dr Verna obtained her medical degree from UKM in 1995. After finishing medical service at the Ministry of Health, she completed her master’s degree in family medicine in UKM in 2002. She was a senior lecturer in UKM before joining IMU as an associate professor in 2008. She was the first medical doctor and then the clinician-in-charge in IMU Medical Clinic since 2010. Dr. Raymond Choy specialises in family and aviation medicine. He started his foray in the field of medicine at International Medical University (IMU), Malaysia in 2003 and he graduated from the University of Manchester, UK with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
Passionate about public healthcare, Dr. Choy later co-founded DOC2US and incorporated the company under the name HeyDoc International Sdn Bhd in April 2015 in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Memory Assessment is a 60-minute virtual consultation session to detect risks of memory problems as early as possible where interventions can be simple brain exercises even from home. The next steps will be recommended according to the results of the assessment.

Dr Toh is a Paediatrician and the Head of the Clinical Research Centre in Sibu Hospital. He is also the Professor for SEGi University and Sunway University, Special Olympics Asia Pacific Regional Clinical Advisor, and Vice President for National Early Childhood Intervention Council. He works in developmental-behavioural paediatrics and community child health and study one-health infectious diseases and vaccines. Besides scientific papers, he has published handbooks on ADHD, language development and breastfeeding, children’s books, Chinese literary prose and short stories. Dr Marjorie is a junior physician, based in Singapore. She is the Resource Person and co-founder of AVEST. She has a demonstrated history of working in healthcare and corporate industries. She also held multiple organisational leadership roles and had executed impactful actions throughout her years of service with most of her years serving in Asian Medical Students’ Association (AMSA) at various tiers.
