Dr Aileen Woon Mei Mei is a Family Physician (FRACGP) in private practice. Aileen is a dedicated family physician with a passion for digital health and its role in promoting equitable healthcare. She has 13+ years of experience as a practicing doctor.

Dr. Alan Teh graduated in 1983 from the University of Malaya. Thereafter, he worked as Lecturer and Associate Professor in the Division of Haematology, Department of Medicine, UMMC 1988-1999. He is trained in Australia in Haematology and bone marrow transplantation at the St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney, Australia and started the first adult bone marrow transplant programme at UMMC in 1993.
His current clinical interests include management of acute myeloid leukemia, multiple myeloma, CML, and allogeneic and autologous haematopoietic stem cell transplantation. He is also keenly interested in information technology and practical application of IT in medicine. Dr. Alan also founded the Dobbs forum for Malaysian doctors https://dobbs.my in year 2000. He started using Remote Consultation (Telemedicine) in 2015, and is currently still actively using remote consultation as a valuable extension of his practice.
Dr Verna obtained her medical degree from UKM in 1995. After finishing medical service at the Ministry of Health, she completed her master’s degree in family medicine in UKM in 2002. She was a senior lecturer in UKM before joining IMU as an associate professor in 2008. She was the first medical doctor and then the clinician-in-charge in IMU Medical Clinic since 2010. She is the past chair of the MPCRG, and currently a research mentor for postgraduate family medicine program in AFPM. Her latest passion is lifestyle medicine.
Dr. Raymond Choy specialises in family and aviation medicine. He started his foray in the field of medicine at International Medical University (IMU), Malaysia in 2003 and he graduated from the University of Manchester, UK with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
Passionate about public healthcare, Dr. Choy later co-founded DOC2US and incorporated the company under the name HeyDoc International Sdn Bhd in April 2015 in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Since then, DOC2US has grown to reach over 1500 partnered pharmacies across Malaysia, prescribed more than 900,000 e-prescriptions and has been operating as the forefront of the digital health and telemedicine industry in Malaysia during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Zethy Suhaidah is trained in Health Law, acquiring her LLM from the University of Bristol. She is a committee member of NETWORK for the Needs of Children with Disabilities Perak and was the Immediate Past President of the National Early Childhood Intervention Council (NECIC) (2016-2022). Dr Rajini Sarvananthan is a Consultant Developmental and General Paediatrician at Park City Medical Centre and Baby and Beyond Child Specialist Clinic, and a Visiting Consultant at UMMC. Dr Rajini graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 1993 and entered paediatric training in 1994. She further sub-specialised in the area of Neurodisability / Developmental Paediatrics in the UK, while completing her Masters in Medical Science in Child Health. Upon returning to Malaysia, she joined UKM and involved in setting up the Child Development Centre at UKMMC, the first such centre in Malaysia at the time. Aside from clinical work, she participates in the training system of paediatrics subspecialty and held multiple positions in causes related to developmental paediatrics.

Dato’ Dr Amar-Singh HSS is a Consultant Community Paediatrician who served the Malaysian health service for 35 years. He headed a regional Paediatric and Research Department. His interests include disadvantaged/marginalised children, indigenous, and disability. He helped revise child health services and introduce national programmes for children. An active child and disability advocate, recipient of Outstanding Asian Paediatrician Award 2012 and SENIA Advocacy Award 2016. He has established NGOs and family support groups. He is currently the advisor of the National Early Childhood Intervention Council (NECIC) and the honorary Senior Fellow at Galen Centre for Health and Social Policy.

Dr Toh is a Paediatrician and the Head of the Clinical Research Centre in Sibu Hospital. He is also the Professor for SEGi University and Sunway University, Special Olympics Asia Pacific Regional Clinical Advisor, and Vice President for National Early Childhood Intervention Council. He works in developmental-behavioural paediatrics and community child health and study one-health infectious diseases and vaccines. Besides scientific papers, he has published handbooks on ADHD, language development and breastfeeding, children’s books, Chinese literary prose and short stories. He received The Outstanding Young Malaysian Award in 2010, Malaysian Medical Association Public Service Award in 2014, and Special Education Network in Asia Advocacy Award in 2018.
Dr Marjorie is a junior physician, based in Singapore. She is the Resource Person and co-founder of AVEST. She has a demonstrated history of working in healthcare and corporate industries. She also held multiple organisational leadership roles and had executed impactful actions throughout her years of service with most of her years serving in Asian Medical Students’ Association (AMSA) at various tiers. She currently serves as the advisor of AMSA Australia despite being graduated from medical school. Dr Oh Er Qin is a Project Manager for Angsana Health, responsible for the Virtual Liver Clinic and co-leading the Angsana Accelerator. He is a medical doctor with special interest in healthcare management, business, and technology.
